Internationally Born, Indiana Raised

Each year thousands of foreign born children are adopted in the United States.

What factors influence someone to adopt internationally?

When did international adoption take root in southern Indiana?

And do internationally adopted children in the region feel any connection to their birth culture?

“Internationally Born, Indiana Raised” attempts to answer these questions through the personal stories of southern Indiana families united through international adoption.
