How much does a PBS TeacherLine course cost?
The average national PBS TeacherLine course costs $350 for a 30 hour course and $430 for a 45 hour course. These courses are specially priced at $199 and $249, respectively. Some classes, like the Raising Readers course are offered at the low price of $99.

How do I receive graduate credit for a PBS TeacherLine course?
Graduate credit is available from Adams State College and Indiana State University-Bloomington. The graduate credits are available for an additional fee.

How do I receive Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) for a PBS TeacherLine course?
Submit statement of assurance to Regional Office of Education (ROE) or Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) upon successful completion of the course. ROE will recommend for approval and forward to State Board of Education.

When will I receive my certificate of completion?
Your certificate of completion will be available for download upon completion of your PBS TeacherLine course.

What are the technical requirements for taking a PBS TeacherLine course?
Teachers enrolled in PBS TeacherLine courses should have access to high-speed Internet access and access to a web browser such as Internet Explorer. Your computer should also have the capability to stream video.

Will I be required to attend class meetings in person?
No. All PBS TeacherLine courses can be completed online.

Can you provide information about enrollment dates and drop dates?

Enrollment opens:

As soon a course is listed

Course open for orientation/review:

Two days prior to course start date

Last date to enroll:

Two days after the course start date

Course drop date with 100% refund:

Before the course start date

Course drop date with 80% refund:

Within 7 days of the course start date
(counting the course start date as day 1)

No refunds will be given on the 8th day after the course start
(counting the course start date as day 1) or thereafter.
