Springfield, IL – State Senator Bill Brady says rampant corruption has given Illinois a black eye and that's one of the reasons he's running for Governor.
The Bloomington Republican kicked off his second gubernatorial campaign today (Mon) in Chicago and becomes the first candidate to formally begin campaigning.
Brady says he'll push for tougher whistle-blower laws so that
politicians would be too afraid to engage in unethical conduct. He
says other goals include lowering taxes, shrinking the size of state government and balancing the budget.
Brady received about 20 percent of the vote in the 2006
Gubernatorial primary.
