Consumer Debt Tops Attorney General Complaint List for 2008

Chicago, IL – What are the top complaints to the Illinois Attorney General's office? You may not be surprised by some of them.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan says consumer debt topped her consumer complaint list in 2008. She says that includes complaints about credit cards and collections.

The A-G's list includes consumer debt, identity theft, construction/home improvement, telecommunications and utilities, among others.
