Carbondale, IL – The Eighth Annual SIUC Corporate Aviation/General Aviation Career Day is coming up on Saturday, March 28th.
The event includes tours of the university's aviation facility as well as time to meet with SIUC aviation students, faculty, and staff.
Chair of the university's department of aviation management and flight, David A. Newmyer, says that this career day is to let students know that a career in aviation is anything but limiting.
"The goal of the Corporate Aviation/General Aviation Career Day is to explain or describe the fact that there is a whole world of aviation careers out there besides just what the airlines do," says Newmyer.
Events start at 1:00 P.M. at the Southern Illinois Airport in Carbondale.
