Carbondale, IL – The Jackson County Health Department is following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and starting seasonal flu vaccinations early this year.
Health Department Director of Nursing Carla Griffin says everyone should get vaccinated for seasonal flu as soon as possible, especially children.
The next round of flu clinics are scheduled for next week. On Tuesday you can get your flu shot at the Jackson County Health Department in Murphysboro from 9-am until 3-pm. And on Friday of next week flu shots will be available at the Jackson County Courthouse from 10-am until 1-pm.

Vaccinations for the H1N1 or Swine Flu will start later this year.
