Southern Illinois Congressman Mike Bost is criticizing President Biden's handling of the unfolding crisis in Afghanistan.
In a written statement, the Murphysboro republican said Biden's failed leadership to leave without a basic awareness of what would happen has endangered lives, emboldened terrorists and weakened America's standing globally.
He said the president threw away 20 years of the blood, sweat and sacrifice by American service members.
