Carbondale woman accused of firing shots into a residence

A Carbondale woman is accused of firing a gun into a residence early Thursday morning.

Police responded to the 700 block of South Lewis Lane around 1:30 a.m.

After they arrived on the scene, officers found 45-year-old Maza Lynch with a gun.

The investigation revealed Lynch fired a shot in the direction of an acquaintance during an argument. There were no injuries reported.

Officers charged Lynch with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon. Lynch was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
