One woman has been arrested for her involvement in the death of a Pulaski County woman.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a residence in rural DeSoto early Sunday morning.

When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Jessica Trexler of Pulaski dead inside the residence.

Deputies learned Trexler entered the residence without permission.

A guest of the residence, 25-year-old Jessica Palmer, has been arrested for various charges for her involvement in the incident.

The investigation is still ongoing.
