The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department reports 26-year-old Jacob Higgins has been arrested for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

On April 29th, the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division received a tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of suspected child pornography activity in the Jefferson County area.

On Tuesday, Higgins was arrested after the initial examination of the evidence collected at the residence.
