Editor's Update: Mr. Hartman was found safe over the weekend.

The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult.

Officers say the family of 44-year-old Joshua Hartman of Chillicothe, Ohio called them Thursday morning to conduct a welfare check on Hartman where he had been staying in the 1400 block of East Main Street in Carbondale.

Officers did not make contact with him.

Hartman is described as being about 5-9, weighing about 150 pounds, with Hazel eyes and Brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with the logo “Jason Carr Electric” printed on it, Blue Jeans, Scuffed up Tan Work Boots and a Blue baseball cap with the name “Westside Sluggers” embroidered on the back.

Hartman was driving a White 2020 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Truck with Ohio license plates P-C-M-3-2-0-7.

He may be in the Crab Orchard area.
