The UK’s King Charles III is officially crowned in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The Coronation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5AM Central Time. The King and Queen will appear on the balcony at Buckingham Palace at 8:15 AM CT. NPR.org will be streaming special coverage of the event starting at 12 a.m. CT.
