The City of Carbondale will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of its incorporation on Wednesday, August 23, at 3 PM at the Carbondale Civic Center. The CommUNITY event will honor and celebrate the history and accomplishments of the past 150 years and conclude with a candle-lighting ceremony. Community residents, Saluki family, business members, civic groups, and non-profit agencies are invited to attend the historical event.
