A 96-year-old bottle of scotch is expected to sell for $1.4 million

A MARTÍNEZ, HOST:

Good morning. I'm A Martínez.

You could buy a bottle of scotch for around 30 bucks, but maybe hold off a bit and bid on this. It's a 96-year-old scotch called Macallan 1926, aged over six decades. Sotheby's predicts it'll sell for $1.4 million. And that's not even the most expensive one they've sold. Another bottle of Macallan sold in 2019 for 1.9 million. Now that's the spirit.
