Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort as we to talk about the books from SIU Press chosen for "Spooky Season."

This collection is featured in a display on the first floor of Morris Library on the SIU Carbondale campus. Some of these books discuss the genre of horror in film and literature, and some tell local stories of villains and antiheroes and the horrors of surviving in southern Illinois in olden times.
Mandi Jourdan
Mandi is the author of six published novels, two short fiction collections, and numerous short stories. She earned her BA and MFA in creative writing from SIU.
