The second annual Hemp and Cannabis Symposium returns to SIU March 26th both in person and virtually at the student center auditorium.
SIU’s Cannabis Science Center is bringing in experts in the hemp and cannabis industry for a symposium later this month.
The experts will discuss their research on laws, regulations, medical uses and more.
Biomedical Science Chair Buck Dale says part of the Cannabis Science Center’s mission is to provide information to the public.
“I think when people leave this symposium, they'll be very current in terms of the retail landscape and the agricultural advances and also what it looks like in terms of regulation and legislation in the state going forward.”
There will also be vendors displaying products and advances in production technology related to the hemp and cannabis industry.
