Local artist Paul Elledge is holding a photo exhibit from October 22nd to December 31st. The exhibit is in the New Semantics Gallery at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Mt. Vernon. It is titled Visions of Us: Southern Illinois Portraits by Paul Elledge.
The exhibit aims to represent the people in Southern Illinois through photographs. Elledge says in the Artist's Statement that his goal is to "dispel stereotypes, encourage appreciation, and ultimately celebrate the remarkable depth and complexity of the people who call this region home."
