Due to limited lodging in Carbondale for the total Solar Eclipse on April 8, the city offers a pop-up campground open from April 6 to 9. Pre-registered guests can register for a spot at Evergreen Park Campground.
Evergreen Park is located at 1205 West Pleasant Hill Road and offers accessible bathrooms, a 135-acre lake, paved roads and parking lots, and a playground. Each package is priced per campsite, parking space, and one pass per vehicle.
Packages range from $500 for a space away from the campsite or an ADA-accessible parking space, $700 for a truck and trailer, and $800 for group camp rentals. For pricing and packages, click here.
