2024 ATA Grand American draws 3,058 trapshooters to World Shooting and Recreational Complex

The 125th American Trapshooting Association Grand American competition drew over 3000 competitors to the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta.

The 125th American Trapshooting Association Grand American competition drew over 3000 competitors to the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta.

Target shooters were from all 50 states, four Canadian provinces, and five other countries.

Director Skip Klinger said, "Things went very well during this year's Grand, and the coordination between us and the ATA was exceptional."

The complex, operated by The Department of Natural Resources, saw a 13% increase in sporting clay revenue over last year.

The 2025 American Trapshooting Association competition is set to take place between July 30 to August 9.
