Come join Friends for a morning walk in an old growth forest located in Southern Illinois at the Otey-Grisley Forest Nature Preserve.
As we walk, we'll talk about what makes this place so special, the plants and animals that live here, and what role people have played and will continue to play in the future.
Please be advised that this nature preserve is privately owned and has no designated trails. The terrain is easy to walk and relatively flat, but is recommended to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Please bring your own water as it may be hot.
