"SOUTHERN ILLINOIS STORIES AND STORYTELLERS"

Celebrate the story of Southern Illinois through its storytellers, writers, booksellers, and publishers on Saturday, June 24th from 11-3 pm at John A. Logan College in Carterville.

Events include poetry and music performances, tours of the Village buildings and gardens, and opportunities to interview friends and family through the Library of Congress's StoryCorps oral history project!

Local authors Robert and Trent Mohlenbrock, Mike Chervinko, Cheryl Trench, Daniel Overturf, Fred Delcomyn Harry Spiller, and more will display and answer questions about their new books on our region.

SIU Press and Confluence Books will sell books of local and regional interest in history, photography, archaeology, natural history, and botany.

Children will have an opportunity to create their own books in the Kids' Craft Tent.

Cold Blooded Coffee & Roastery will be on hand for refreshments.
