Carbondale's Annual Neighborhood Alliance Meeting is coming up

This year's Carbondale's annual Neighborhood Alliance Meeting will discuss the city's current issues. The meeting is open to the public at Carbondale Public Library and through a Zoom meeting.

The two-hour gathering will address Carbondale's challenges, significant city changes, and upcoming events. The focus of this year's meeting is a proposal to reduce the city-wide greenhouse gas emissions through developing solar energy sources.

The meeting will also touch on topics like gun violence, heat islands, community development, and Carbondale's disaster preparedness communication.

The Neighborhood Alliance Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 3 at 10 a.m. For those who prefer online access, contact the Carbondale Public Library.
