Southern Illinois Congressman Mike Bost will be hosting a financial fraud workshop in St. Clair County on August 12th.
Bost will be joined by a regional assistant director for the Federal Trade Commission and Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Bullard, who will provide presentation on how to recognize, avoid, and report financial scams.
Bost says financial scams caused over $10 billion dollars in losses last year.
The workshop on August 12 will run from 11 a.m. to noon at the Shiloh Community Center.
