The City of Carbondale is celebrating the 30th anniversary of LGBTQ History Month this October.
Carbondale will be hosting an event in conjunction with Golden Rainbows of Illinois South, SIU LGBTQ Resource Center, and Rainbow Cafe.
The dialogue this month will center on Reclaiming Queer History, inspired by the SIU LGBTQ Resource Center's theme for LGBTQ history month. The event will kick off by highlighting the queer history in the region and state.
Their "At the Table" Dinner & Dialogue event will be on Thursday, October 10th. This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30pm and the Dinner & Dialogue will start at 6pm.
