A series of online events called “All together now S-I” is focused on organizing communities to bring new opportunities to Southern Illinois through sustainable practices.
The webinars cover a range of topics including solar energy, indoor gardening, renewable energy and other sustainable ways that are good for the climate, economy and the world.
The Climate Economy CEO Amy McMorrow Hunter says switching from fossil fuels to clean energy can stop climate change and create jobs.
“We’re going to put these experts together at these community listening forums and we’re going to have them listen to the people in our communities and try to help them solve their problems and find the resources they need in order to develop these new jobs and new ventures from clean energy and climate mitigation and adaptation.”
Beyond the webinars people can find information and programs on how to make better choices that that will not impact climate change. You can find more at all-together-now-s-i-dot-com.
