IDPH: COVID-19 Cases Rise to Over 2,500

During Governor J.B. Pritzker's Daily COVID-19 Briefing, The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 673 new cases of COVID-19 in the state. Which brings the current total to 2,538 positive cases. 

Health officials also reported seven more deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 26 in Illinois. 37 of the state's 102 counties have positive cases of COVID-19. Including three counties in Southern Illinois, Jackson, Williamson and Franklin Counties.
