A retired health leader from southern Illinois has been nominated to serve on the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
Former Southern Illinois Healthcare CEO Rex Budde was named to the panel this week.
Governor JB Pritzker's office announced the nomination, pointing to Budde's 40-year career at SIH and other healthcare organizations.
The HFS Review Board weighs new programs and projects for health providers throughout the state. Budde's nomination still needs confirmation in the Illinois State Senate.
