SIH's Community Health Needs Assessment last year showed behavioral health improvement was a top priority.

Angie Bailey is the SIH System Director for Community Health.

She says one way they trying to raise awareness about behavioral health is to offer an eight-hour course for adults and youth called Mental Health First Aid.

"If you're someone who maybe works with students a lot or is involved with a youth group or a student organization or club or you work in a school or a church group, those are the individuals that might want to attend Mental Health First Aid for youth. Then, the adult one is more just for anyone in the community."

Bailey says the next virtual course is for adults on June 1.
