Illinois State Police is investigating a shooting death in Johnson County.
Troopers and deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department responded to a rural residence in Grantsburg at about 6 p.m. on Monday.
The owner of the residence, 75-year-old Henry Bullock, told them his son, 43-year-old Brandon Bullock, had entered the residence resulting in an altercation that caused the elder Bullock to shoot his son.
An autopsy is set for Wednesday morning.
