A second arrest has been made in a shooting incident last October in Carbondale that resulted in serious injuries to the victim.
Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 700 block of South Rawlings Street in reference to shots fired in the early morning hours on October 27.
During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as 52-year-old Tracy Wimberly of Carbondale.
A Jackson County Grand Jury indicted Wimberly for Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon.
On January 17, the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Memphis, Tennessee located and arrested Wimberly.
On January 21, Wimberly was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he remains pending a court appearance.

Another suspect in the case, 45-year-old Maza Lynch was arrested in October for Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon; Obstructing Justice and Violation of Bond.
