No foul play is suspected after a body was found in the backyard of a residence in Carterville on Monday morning
Carterville Police issued a news release Tuesday saying the man's body found in the 100 block of Timber Trail was removed from the scene and taken to the Williamson County Coroner's office morgue in Marion.
An autopsy on the body is scheduled for Thursday.
The incident remains under investigation.
