Officers say the person has operated the four-wheeler in a high speed, reckless manner in Veterans Park with people in the area and around events where children were present.

This person is also traveling at high rates of speed on major roadways, disobeying traffic control devices and fleeing when confronted by law enforcement.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mt Vernon Police Department at 618-242-2131 or Crimestoppers at 618-242-8477.
