The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the person who stole items from Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Officers say on January 24 at about 10:45 p.m., a white male (pictured above) forced his way into a restricted office area of the hospital, entered several offices and eventually left with property belonging to the hospital.

Once outside the hospital, security officers confronted the man, who ran northbound on North Poplar Street and out of sight.

If you have information on the identity and/or location of the individual, contact the Carbondale Police Department at (618) 549-2121 or Crime Stoppers at (618) 549-COPS.
