The Carbondale Police Department is searching for two juveniles wanted in a shooting incident last week.

In the early evening of May 9, police officers responded to the 500 block of South Rawlings Street to investigate three individuals injured by gunfire.

They learned the incident was the result of an ongoing dispute between known acquaintances.

During the investigation, detectives from the Carbondale Police Department identified two suspects who are juveniles from Carbondale. The Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office issued arrest warrants. Detectives are actively seeking them at this time.

At the last update, one of the victims involved has been discharged from the hospital, while two are still undergoing medical treatment for their injuries.
