Carbondale City Council to discuss taxes, food insecurity

Carbondale leaders have taxes and hunger on their agenda for Tuesday's meeting.

One proposal on the agenda the city's 2021 tax levy and the library board's tax levy requirements.

The council will also discuss a 20-thousand dollar expenditure to address food insecurity in Carbondale, which is being put forth by councilwoman Ginger Rye-Sanders.

Anyone who wishes to attend the meeting must register in advance on the City of Carbondale's website.
