Juliana Stratton is one of the high profile Illinois democrats to make the leap from her current office to run for the Senator Dick Durbin's seat. She was the first to make her announcement that she would seek the Democratic nomination.
Stratton visited southern Illinois as Lieutenant Governor for a round table on healthcare in rural Illinois. After that she went to an event hosted by the Jackson and Williamson County Democratic parties.
