UPDATE: Missing Person Found

Carbondale Police report Amina Henderson has been found safe and in good health.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The City of Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public's assistance locating a missing person, Amina A. Henderson, aged 23, of Carbondale. Amina last spoke with family on the phone on August 24, 2024, and was reported missing on September 3, 2024.

Amina is described as a black female, 5 feet four inches tall, around 170 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair dyed green.

Amina is homeless in Carbondale but is known to frequent the Carbondale Public Library and the 800 block of West Mill Street. She also suffers from a condition that puts her at risk.
