In Carbondale, Catch a matinee with Queer Cinema the first Thursday of every month during the Fall semester from 3:00-6:00pm in the Student Center auditorium. Free popcorn, candy, giveaways, and discussion. The movies, Love Spells and All That will be showing tomorrow.
The Marion Carnegie Library and the U of I Cooperative Extension Service have extended their EatPlayGrow™ preschool nutrition program for children age 6 and younger. Children participate in fun, educational lessons about the importance of making positive choices in the areas that most affect their health . Registration is encouraged to attend the events and is available in the library’s Children’s Department and by calling 618-993-5935. Through friction, percussion, and tool use, you will gain first hand experience in ancient ways and join an ancient lineage of honoring fire!
