In Marion, Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois hosts their annual Trivia Night at the Oscars at The Pavilion on March 31st. Walk the red carpet and enjoy many activities at the event. Save the date and find more information on their website,www.bgcsi.org

In Benton, you can volunteer for Stewardship Workdays at the Rend Lake Visitor Center Pollinator Gardens. Help get the garden in shape for the pollinators, learn proper maintenance and identify the budding plants. The first volunteer opportunity is Wednesday, March 22nd from 8:30 to 10:30am and then every 4th Wednesday of the month thereafter. Tools will be provided but bring your own knee pads if you wish. Centerstone will host the 4th annual Problem and Compulsive Gambling Symposium on Thursday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. via Zoom. CEUs are available.
