The Jefferson County Historical Society is hosting its annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 12th from 11am. to 3 pm. at the Historical Village. The Village is located at 1411 N. 27th Street in Mt. Vernon. Once again, this event will be drive-thru style with many goodies to choose from. Guests may also choose to eat on the grounds of the Village or inside the air-conditioned museum.
