In Makanda, The Natural Beekeeping for Beginners Program at Giant City State Park is Sat., August 26th from 6-8 pm. Discover the basics of backyard beekeeping during with local bee enthusiasts Angie and Colin Kuehl as they discuss getting started with beekeeping. The benefits of beekeeping extend beyond pollination and honey! This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please call 618-457-4836 to register.
