In Carbondale, The SIU School of Theater and Dance will host auditions for two upcoming shows. Auditions are open to students as well as community members who are interested in a role in Ride The Cyclone the Musical and Wedding Band: A Love-Hate Story in Black and White. Auditions are tomorrow at Mcleod Auditorium from 6:30 to 10pm with callbacks planned for this Friday night.
In Makanda, The Natural Beekeeping for Beginners Program at Giant City State Park is Sat., August 26th from 6-8 pm. Discover the basics of backyard beekeeping during with local bee enthusiasts Angie and Colin Kuehl as they discuss getting started with beekeeping.
