In Carterville, the Warriors of Hope Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk is a ½ mile walk will raise funds to help increase public awareness about suicide and the need for prevention efforts. Saturday, September 16th at 2PM at Cannon Park.

The Marion VA Health Care System is hosting a Free Veteran Suicide Prevention Summit at Cornerstone Church on September 14 & 15 from 9:00 – 3:00. This event is intended for community partners to share resources from VA and other organizations with the goal of eliminating Veteran suicide.
