In Carbondale, Green Earth’s Pumpkin Glow returns for another year of delighting visitors with this magical nighttime hike. Stroll through the woods at night to view over 750 jack-o-lanterns and witness the ethereal beauty that is this region's original Pumpkin Glow. In Anna, you’re invited for some Halloween fun at the Haunted House of Horrors, October 27, 28, 30, 31, 7-10 PM at the Anna Arts Center. This is a fundraiser appropriate for the whole family. Proceeds will go to AJCHS Art Club and the Shawnee Hills Art Council
Green Earth Inc has also partnered with local organizations to host the first Southern Illinois Pumpkin Smash Event! Pumpkin drop off and some hands-on pumpkin smashing activities will be offered in this fun and family friendly event! The resulting pumpkin remains will be hauled off to SIU’s Forced Air Composting Facility on Pleasant Hill Road and kept out of the landfill. This is a family friendly event! Bring your pumpkins and dress for outdoor fun and play. Saturday, November 4th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
