The First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon is holding its annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 2 from 9-noon. Come in and make your selection, or have a box of assorted cookies delivered to your car. They are located at 3205 Broadway. Call 618.246.6261 for more information.

Learn more about organic farming practices in Southern Illinois. Hear from expert speakers who will discuss the benefits and challenges of transitioning to organic farming practices. The speakers will cover topics such as soil health, crop rotation, and pest management. Additionally, the event will offer practical advice on how to transition from conventional to organic farming. This event is a great opportunity for farmers and others interested in sustainable agriculture to learn about the latest developments in organic farming. Refreshments will be provided. Travel Stipend available at sign-up.
