Sierra Club Shawnee Group Annual New Year’s Day Stone Soup Picnic
Monday, January 1, 2024 11AM - 3PM at Giant City State Park, Shelter 2. Join us at 11 am to contribute pre-cooked vegetarian ingredients for the soup pot. In Mt Vernon, Cedarhurst Center for the Arts hosts Supper with Santa in Mitchell Museum. The event is December 15th & 16th at 5pm. Families will enjoy a buffet dinner, craft activity, and the chance to merrily mingle and take photos with Santa. After dinner, walk The Lights display. Children under 2 are free.
