In Carbondale, WSIU presents a FREE preview screening of “Razing Liberty Square” followed by a community discussion at Carbondale Public Library on Wednesday, January 17, 5pm to 7pm. Dinner provided and After the screening, there will be a candid conversation about the dramatic changes happening in Miami’s Liberty Square and how these are a lens on issues of significance beyond that community - the affordable housing crisis, the impact of systemic racism, and climate gentrification.

The City of Carbondale is hosting, Meet the Mayor, a series of monthly gatherings for community conversations with Mayor Harvey. The first of these gatherings will be held tomorrow at 9 am at Neighborhood Co-Op. It is free and open to the public. The American Red Cross is in need of donors.
