In Carbondale, SIU President Emeritus Glenn Poshard and coauthor Carl Walworth will speak about their recently published book, Son of Southern Illinois: Glenn Poshard’s Life in Politics and Education, at a book talk and reception hosted by SIU Press. The event will open with the authors discussing their book and taking audience questions at 5:00 p.m. on March 6th in Morris Library’s Guyon Auditorium. The catered reception, which will also feature a book sale and signing, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the library’s first-floor rotunda.
