Saluki Ball You're Invited: 2nd Annual Saluki Ball

Hosted by Chancellor Austin Lane & Mrs. Loren Lane, the second annual Saluki Ball is a black-tie optional event of elegance and philanthropy. Dedicated to raising funds that bridge the financial gap for students, we hope you will join us in making a transformative impact on the lives of our promising scholars.

This year's musical guest will be En Vogue, one of the most prolific female music groups in history. The event will be emceed by SIU alumnus and ESPN 1000 radio host Marc Silverman.

 
Rend Lake Announces the 2024 Small World Program Schedule

Benton, Rend Lake offers the 2024 Small World Program. Each month, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake hosts a Small World environmental education program designed for children five years old and younger, at the Rend Lake Visitor Center the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM and are free to the public. all ages are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each month, a new theme is explored through a story, craft, and activity. While the programs are designed for children five years old and younger, all ages are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Home school groups, pre-school groups, daycare facilities, and other groups are welcome to participate, but should register first by contacting the Rend Lake Project Office/Visitor Center at 618-724-2493. Schedules are available at the Rend Lake Project Office/Visitor Center, online at mvs.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/Rend-Lake/, and on the Rend Lake Project Office/Visitor Center Facebook page.

The Olney Art Council presents the Fine Art Showcase this month!
Visit the exhibit April 16th to April 20th so see local artist's paintings, drawings, and 3 dimensional art. Local school children's works will also be on display.
