The City of Carbondale, Carbondale Main Street, and the SIU Alumni Association are shutting down The Strip for a special "Off The Rails Concert" during SIU’s 2024 Homecoming. The concert will feature the farewell performance of local legends Jungle Dogs, with Modern Day Saints opening. Celebrate Homecoming with live music, food, and local vendors. The City of Murphysboro Sunset Concert Series continues tonight at Carl Lee Park featuring live rock & blues music from Cat Daddy-O. Everyone is welcome. Bring a chair and your cooler. Concerts are every Thursday night in August from 6:30-8:30pm.

The Effingham Farmers Market provides our community with FRESH, locally grown food, art, and quality artisan goods. The market is open every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the historical Effingham County Courthouse Square. Enjoy live music (as scheduled), food vendors, while you shop the market.
